Se qualcuno storms around (tempesta intorno) allora è infuriato e lo esprime in maniera evidente.
Per esempio: my boss was storming around because of that problem(il mio capo era infuriato a causa di quel problema)

L’espressione any port in a storm (qualsiasi porto in una tempesta), significa che quando si hanno difficoltà a volte bisogna accettare anche soluzioni non ideali, di compromesso.
Per esempio: I’d like to find a better hotel, but it’s too late now. Any port in a storm. (Mi piacerebbe trovare un albergo migliore, ma adesso è troppo tardi. Va bene anche se non è l’ideale)

Infine il proverbio After the storm comes a calm (dopo la tempesta viene la calma) vuole dire che dopo un momento di grande attività e problemi spesso c’è un momento di calma.
Per esempio: over 100 customers came to the shop yesterday, while today there’s hardly anyone. After the storm comes a calm. (oltre 100 clienti sono venuti in negozio ieri, mentre oggi non c’è quasi nessuno. La quiete dopo la tempesta)
